Our team consists of strong leaders who are passionate about positively impacting the lives of the youth in our communities
SWABIR SHARIFF -Executive Director/Founder
Swabir was born and raised on the east side of Scarborough, and his passion for youth mentoring led to the creation of The Good Guides. As an outgoing activist, Swabir sits on the steering committee of East-Scarborough Storefront and is a Youth Advisory Committee member for the Chief of the Toronto Police Service. He enjoys hiking, travelling and working with youth to become productive members of society.
CHRISTOPHER DAYE- Operations Manager
Chris has been living and working in the Scarborough community for the majority of his life and has seen the negative changes firsthand. He enjoys camping, fishing and trips with the youth.
CHAZ MAIS - Project Manager
Chaz is a resident of the Scarborough community and his experiences within has made him an advocate for the youth. He enjoys music, meditating and spreading positive vibes.
FARHAN KHALID - Project Director
Farhan is a lifelong resident of the east-Scarborough neighbourhood. His passion for youth empowerment and experience in community work allows him to take initiative to try and impact youth in his community
ALEX IONITA - Marketing Specialist
Alex is a University of Toronto Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. His passion for basketball and other sports makes him believe that kids can learn a lot about who they are and necessary life skills.
ABDI AHMED - Youth Leader
Abdi Ahmed is a passionate youth leader in his community, he has made it his life mission to empower youth and provide them with the facilities to allow them to be successful.

EMMANUEL AKINGBOLA- Development Coordinator
Emmanuel Akingbola is a recent Ryerson University graduate who majored in Global Management studies while minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He enjoys nature, music, soccer, and long walks on the beach.
SABRINA SHARIFF, RN - Development & Safety Coordinator
Sabrina Shariff is a Public Health Nurse who graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and is currently a Master of Education candidate. She has a passion for community health nursing and is eager to give back to her community by providing health education and promoting healthy lifestyles for youth and their families.
